WWF-UK
For Nature, For People, Forever
About the Charity
Over the past 60 years, WWF has grown from a small group of wildlife enthusiasts to one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations. Today, we're working to protect the planet in more than 100 countries on five continents with the support of millions of people. As we've developed, our focus has evolved from localised efforts to protect individual habitats and single species, such as the giant panda, to an ambitious strategy to restore nature around the globe. And you have been with us every step of the way.
At WWF we’re uniquely well placed to bring our world back to life. We’ve been protecting nature’s wonders for more than 60 years. And now we’re leading the way not just to protect our natural world but to restore it.
We’re working through our unparalleled global network, and in collaboration with governments, businesses, NGOs, Indigenous peoples and local communities to achieve the following outcomes by 2027:
- Stop deforestation
Deliver a sustainable future in the UK
Bring nature back from the brink
Inspire public action for nature
